Solar Storm Hits Earth. We are seeing the first rounds of a solar storm hitting our earth today. It is estimated that this is a one in 10 year event that has already caused some problems with TV Satellite systems for use of network TV. GPS as well as Power Grids could also be affected and Utilities are monitoring the situation closely.
