Big traffic problems, A warmer weekend ahead...

Snow caused a major traffic problem over the Shoals last
night. It certainly doesn't take much accumulations of
snow to cause BIG problems on Bridges. This picture was
taken (Courtesy & rights given to Florence Times Daily)
last night in the Shoals after snow showers invaded the
area. Several wrecks were reported and State Troopers
were on the scenes for hours.
Another cold night ahead, You can see the trough is located
right over the Tennessee valley bringing in the cold air
right out of the north. Notice a ridge setting up over Texas
and the south central U.S. We will soon see a warming trend
for the weekend. Sunny skies with temperatures rebounding into
the 50s over the weekend.
